| The second level of the work breakdown structure is the activity. An activity is the largest logical unit of work within a phase. It groups a number of related tasks and serves as the primary mechanism for planning, managing, and tracking Service Engagement at the highest level. In general, an activity produces one or more deliverables/artifacts of the Service Engagement. |
